This blog offers images, text, questions, and other forms of inquiry and discovery as a way in which our friends might learn about the fascinating African country of Swaziland. The study of material culture, that is, anything made or shaped by humans, is our chosen method of investigation. And, because James will be with us this time around, it is also about human evolution.

I notice from the pictures, although, very hot there, that it is also very green. So it must rain? When is their rainy season?
They do have a rainy season. I am not sure when that is, Laura will probably have a better idea, but it has been quite rainy lately. It has actually been more cloudy than sunny since I arrived here (which is fine by me since the rooms at the museum are quite hot some days).
